Our Story
Equestrian Blueprint was originally formed to fulfil the planning requirements for our family business, Jon William Stables. As our workload organically increased, Equestrian Blueprint branched off into a separate business. As well as being in close partnership with JWS, we also work on various independent projects across the UK.
Having worked in the equine field in both a planning and construction capacity, we have a vast technical understanding of timber buildings and construction methods. This provides us with a unique insight within the planning phase, as we can offer sound advice on what is possible given the constraints.
Our Approach
We strive to offer a service that will gain you your planning permission, without undertaking any unnecessary extra work. There is a raft of expert statements that are potentially necessary, but often not required. Using our experience we can help you navigate this minefield, ensuring that your project remains as cost-effective as possible. Since the 1980's when we began offering planning permission we have helped hundreds of clients gain planning permission and are proud to maintain a 97%+ success rate.
Our Founder
Equestrian Blueprint is a business run by myself, Nicholas Pike. I have many years of experience in managing equestrian building projects, in fact, I am the second generation as I learnt from my father. Throughout the years I have worked on a vast array of projects, varying widely in size and complexity. As a result, these experiences help me navigate the intricacies of the ever-changing planning system.
My experience ranges from hands-on manufacturing of timber buildings and construction on-site, as well as the planning and design of stables, stable yards, arenas and other equine facilities.
